Online store development in Narva for sales across all of Estonia
Narva’s local market is limited, but parcel lockers are everywhere. An online store lets a Narva seller reach customers in Tallinn, Tartu and every other town — in Russian and Estonian.

Why a Narva store needs to reach beyond the city
Narva’s population has been gradually shrinking, and relying only on local shoppers is getting harder. Parcel-locker delivery removes distance from the equation: an order from Narva reaches any town with a locker.
Russian-speaking shoppers live all over Estonia, and an online store with a proper Russian version is still a welcome rarity for them. Estonian-speaking shoppers, meanwhile, expect a complete Estonian catalogue.
An Estonian version is mandatory for a store
According to guidance from the Estonian Language Board (Keeleamet), when an online store presents product information to consumers in a foreign language, that information must also be provided in Estonian. For a store, that means not a short summary but the whole catalogue and purchase terms in Estonian.
The platform supports Russian, Estonian and English versions on separate URLs, so each product is added once with texts in the languages you need.
What the online store includes
- a catalogue with categories, variants and stock levels;
- a cart and checkout designed for phones;
- Montonio payments: Estonian bank links and card payments;
- delivery to an Omniva, DPD or SmartPosti parcel locker;
- orders in the admin panel, notifications to Telegram and email;
- templates for terms of sale, returns and privacy pages;
- content export as an archive — your data stays yours.
What the studio needs from you
- your product range with prices and variants, as a spreadsheet or list;
- product photos;
- descriptions in Russian — the studio prepares the Estonian version and agrees it with you in writing;
- delivery and return terms;
- a Montonio contract in your company’s name.
After launch
You manage products, prices, stock and promotions yourself in the admin panel. Built-in analytics shows which products get viewed and where shoppers come from, without third-party trackers.
To get found outside Narva, the store can be paired with SEO and with Google and social media advertising in both languages. Store support is a separate monthly line.
How the work runs
The studio is based in Narva; communication is in writing, in Russian, Estonian or English, with a reply to every enquiry within 24 hours. The cost depends on catalogue size, languages and integrations, and is fixed in the contract. Connecting Maksekeskus or Stripe is separate development within the project.
Pricing
The cost depends on the scope
Starting prices are shown on each service page and on the Pricing page. The exact cost depends on the scope — languages, sections, payments, booking — and is worked out for the task and fixed in the quote and the contract before work starts.
Describe the task
What the site has to do, who it is for and what takes up your time today. A reply comes within 24 hours — with clarifying questions or a preliminary estimate of cost and timing.
Quote and deadline in the contract
What is included, for how much and by when is fixed before the work starts. The price does not grow along the way: new large sections are priced separately and in advance, not on the invoice.
Monthly maintenance
Hosting, certificate, platform and security updates, backups and small edits — a separate monthly line in the quote. Domain renewal is paid to the registrar unless the contract says otherwise. If you decide to leave, you take the content as an archive and the domain, which is registered in your name.
FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Can the store launch in Russian only?
Not if it sells to consumers in Estonia: according to Keeleamet guidance, foreign-language product information must also be available in Estonian.
How does a customer in Tallinn receive an order?
They pick an Omniva, DPD or SmartPosti parcel locker at checkout, and you send the parcel from Narva.
Who translates the catalogue into Estonian?
The studio prepares the Estonian texts and agrees them with you. If you already work with a translator, their texts can be used instead.
Can we add products ourselves?
Yes. Products, prices, stock and photos are managed in the admin panel without a developer.
