Google Ads setup and management

Google Ads puts your offer in front of people who are searching for it right now. The studio builds campaigns in English, Estonian and Russian, sets up conversion tracking and manages the ads on an ongoing basis. You pay the advertising budget directly to Google; the studio’s work is a separate line in the quote.

When Google Ads makes sense

  • a new website that has not yet built up search visibility;
  • seasonal demand — tyres, air conditioning, gifts, the tourist season;
  • urgent services such as towing, repairs or same-day appointments;
  • testing a new service line before investing in SEO.

What Google Ads setup includes

  • keyword and cost-per-click research in three languages using Google’s Keyword Planner;
  • a campaign structure with separate ad groups per service and language;
  • ad copy and sitelinks for each ad group;
  • negative keywords so you don’t pay for irrelevant searches;
  • location targeting by city, county or all of Estonia;
  • ad scheduling and budget limits;
  • conversion tracking, verified so that enquiries are actually recorded.

Your budget, your account

The ad account is created in your company’s name, and the payment method — your card or bank transfer — is added in the Google Ads billing settings. Google charges your business directly for clicks; the studio never handles that money.

The studio works in the account with manager access. If you stop working together, the account stays with you, complete with its history and settings. Before launch, Google may ask you to complete advertiser verification, which requires your company details.

Conversion tracking and cookie consent

Without tracking, campaign management is guesswork. The studio installs the Google tag and defines the actions that matter: a submitted form, an online booking, a completed order. You can then see which searches bring customers and which only spend budget.

In the European Economic Area, Google requires advertisers to pass on users’ consent signals through consent mode. The cookie banner on studio-built sites offers a genuine choice to accept or reject and passes that choice to Google. Google fills part of the gap for visitors who decline through modelling, but the picture is never complete — something to keep in mind when reading results.

Landing pages built for ads

An ad that sends people to your home page loses some of them on the first screen. A dedicated page for each service and language works better: the same promise as the ad, answers to the key questions and a short enquiry form.

Landing pages are built on the studio’s engine and edited in the admin panel, so you can update the copy for a new offer without a developer.

Ongoing campaign management

The first few weeks matter most. Based on real search terms, negative keywords are added, bids adjusted and ads that bring no enquiries paused. After that the campaigns are reviewed regularly, and once a month you receive a report covering spend, clicks, enquiries, cost per enquiry and planned changes.

Common Google Ads mistakes

  • broad match without negative keywords, so ads show for random searches;
  • every language crammed into one ad group;
  • auto-applied Google recommendations that quietly widen targeting;
  • no conversion tracking, so nobody knows what works;
  • ads pointing to the home page instead of a landing page.

Pricing

The cost depends on the scope

Starting prices are shown on each service page and on the Pricing page. The exact cost depends on the scope — languages, sections, payments, booking — and is worked out for the task and fixed in the quote and the contract before work starts.

Describe the task

What the site has to do, who it is for and what takes up your time today. A reply comes within 24 hours — with clarifying questions or a preliminary estimate of cost and timing.

Quote and deadline in the contract

What is included, for how much and by when is fixed before the work starts. The price does not grow along the way: new large sections are priced separately and in advance, not on the invoice.

Monthly maintenance

Hosting, certificate, platform and security updates, backups and small edits — a separate monthly line in the quote. Domain renewal is paid to the registrar unless the contract says otherwise. If you decide to leave, you take the content as an archive and the domain, which is registered in your name.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

How much ad budget do you need?

It depends on your industry and the cost per click for your keywords. Before launch, the studio estimates this in Keyword Planner and agrees a sensible test budget with you. You pay that budget directly to Google.

Who owns the ad account?

You do. The account and payment profile are in your company’s name; the studio has management access, which you can revoke at any time.

How quickly will ads start running?

Once Google has reviewed the ads, usually within one business day. Reaching stable performance takes several weeks of adjustments.

Should you advertise in English, Estonian or Russian?

Often all three, as separate ad groups. Google targets ads by the user’s language settings, so each audience sees ads — and ideally a landing page — in its own language.

Can campaigns be paused?

Yes, at any time, and click costs stop immediately. What happens to the studio’s work in that case is set out in the contract.

Does your website need to run on the studio’s engine?

No, campaigns can be managed for any website. Conversion tracking and landing pages are simply easier and more reliable to set up on the studio’s engine.

What does the studio need from you to launch?

Company details for the ad account and billing profile, a list of services in order of priority, the areas you serve and a clear idea of what a valuable enquiry looks like. The studio prepares the rest and agrees it with you before launch.
