Beauty salon website with online booking by stylist
A beauty salon website works like a receptionist who never goes home: it shows each stylist's real free slots, takes the booking, sends a reminder before the visit and lets the client reschedule through a link without calling.

What a salon website includes
- Online booking: service, stylist, free time — three steps on a phone.
- A price list with service durations that the salon updates in the admin panel.
- Stylist pages: speciality, photo and the services each person provides.
- Prepayment at booking via Montonio, if the salon wants it.
- Client reviews and a before-and-after gallery.
- Estonian, Russian and English versions on separate URLs.
- New booking notifications in Telegram and by email.
How online booking works for the client
- Picks a service — the site already knows how long it takes.
- Picks a stylist or chooses “anyone available”.
- Sees only genuinely free slots: booked time and breaks are never offered.
- Enters a name and contact details and pays a deposit if required.
- Receives a confirmation email with a link to reschedule or cancel.
- Gets an email reminder the day before the visit.
Stylist schedules and real free slots
Each stylist has a weekly schedule and each service has its own duration. Free slots are calculated from this data automatically, so double bookings do not happen.
When a client reschedules or cancels through the link, the slot becomes available again at once and the salon gets a Telegram notification. Nobody has to call back or compare a paper diary with a messenger chat.
Holidays, sick days and days the salon is closed are marked in the admin panel, and no slots are offered for them. When a stylist's schedule changes, the free slots on the site change immediately.
Prepayment via Montonio
Prepayment is switched on in the booking settings, either as a fixed amount or as a percentage of the service price. While the client is paying, the chosen slot is held; if the payment does not go through, the slot is released.
Payment runs through Montonio, using Estonian bank links or a card. Salons usually ask for prepayment for long treatments and busy days, and set out their cancellation and refund rules on the terms page.
Price list and price display rules
Services, prices and durations are edited in the admin panel in every language of the site. Under the guidance of the Consumer Protection and Technical Regulatory Authority (TTJA), consumers must be shown the final price of a service including taxes; where it cannot be stated in advance, the price components or the basis of calculation are given.
If the site has Russian or English versions, the Language Act requires consumer information to be available in Estonian as well — the platform keeps all three language versions side by side.
What the salon provides for launch
- A list of services with durations and prices.
- Stylists, their schedules and the services each provides.
- Photos of the salon, team and work — or a photo shoot arranged separately.
- Rules for booking, lateness and cancellations.
- A Montonio contract if prepayment is needed.
After launch
Website support is a separate monthly line: updates, backups and small changes. The studio also runs Instagram and Facebook advertising and helps with the Google Business Profile so that the booking page gets visitors. No number of bookings is promised: that depends on the market, pricing and season.
Pricing
The cost depends on the scope
Starting prices are shown on each service page and on the Pricing page. The exact cost depends on the scope — languages, sections, payments, booking — and is worked out for the task and fixed in the quote and the contract before work starts.
Describe the task
What the site has to do, who it is for and what takes up your time today. A reply comes within 24 hours — with clarifying questions or a preliminary estimate of cost and timing.
Quote and deadline in the contract
What is included, for how much and by when is fixed before the work starts. The price does not grow along the way: new large sections are priced separately and in advance, not on the invoice.
Monthly maintenance
Hosting, certificate, platform and security updates, backups and small edits — a separate monthly line in the quote. Domain renewal is paid to the registrar unless the contract says otherwise. If you decide to leave, you take the content as an archive and the domain, which is registered in your name.
FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Can clients book without choosing a stylist?
Yes. The client selects “anyone available”, and the system offers times with the stylists who provide that service and are free.
Are reminders sent by SMS?
Out of the box, confirmations and reminders go to the client by email, and to the salon via Telegram and email. SMS sending is added as custom development through a chosen provider.
Is prepayment mandatory?
No. Prepayment is switched on or off in the booking settings and can be a fixed amount or a percentage of the service price.
Can existing bookings be moved over from the current system?
That depends on what the current system can export. If the data can be exported to a file, the migration is assessed before work starts and included in the contract.
Who updates prices and services after launch?
The salon itself, in the admin panel. Changes appear on the site straight away and do not break the layout.
Does the booking system suit barbers, massage or nail studios?
Yes. The logic is the same: services with durations, staff with schedules and free time. Only the copy, photos and service list change.
