Car service and garage website: online booking and tyre changes

Drivers look for a garage nearby and want to know two things: does it do the job they need, and when can they come in. A car service website shows the list of services and the free slots, and takes more complex repairs as a request with the vehicle's details.

What a car service website includes

  • Online booking for standard jobs in free slots.
  • A list of services with prices or the basis for calculating them.
  • A repair request with car make, model and a description of the problem.
  • Separate booking for seasonal tyre changes.
  • Address on a map, opening hours and contact details.
  • Estonian, Russian and English versions.
  • Booking and request notifications in Telegram and by email.

Booking by service bay or mechanic

Booking works the same way as in a salon: each job has its own duration, and each bay or mechanic has a schedule. The client sees only free slots and cannot book time that is already taken.

A confirmation goes to the client by email with a link to reschedule or cancel, and a reminder arrives the day before. A freed-up slot returns to the booking calendar immediately.

Seasonal tyre changes without a queue at the gate

In Estonia studded tyres are allowed from 15 October to 31 March and winter tyres are mandatory from 1 December to 1 March; in wintry conditions the dates can shift. As a result, tyre shops face a peak twice a year, and the phone cannot keep up.

Tyre changing becomes a separate short service, and more slots are opened in the schedule for peak weeks. Clients choose a time themselves and the garage sees the workload in advance. Tyre storage can be offered as a separate service in the same price list, and bookings are visible by day in the admin panel so staff can be planned for the busy weeks.

Repair requests with vehicle details

Repairs cannot always be booked into a fixed slot: diagnostics, or at least a description of the problem, come first. For this, the enquiry form gets fields that suit a garage — make, model, year, registration number and a description of the fault. The fields are configured during development for the specific business.

The request lands in Telegram and email, and the mechanic replies with a preliminary estimate or offers a diagnostics slot. Requests no longer get lost between phone calls, and nobody has to ask for the car's details twice.

Prices for work

Prices for standard jobs sit in the price list and are edited in the admin panel. Where the final price cannot be given in advance, TTJA guidance requires informing the consumer of the price components or the basis of calculation — for example the labour hour rate and the diagnostics fee.

What the garage prepares

  • A list of jobs with durations and prices.
  • The number of bays or mechanics and their schedules.
  • Rules for tyre changes and storage, if offered.
  • Car makes the garage does or does not work on.
  • Photos of the garage and the access route.

Marketing after launch

People search for a garage “near me” and “today”, so the Google Business Profile and local Google Ads campaigns matter. The studio sets up the ads and helps with the profile; campaigns can be stepped up for the tyre season. Search rankings and the number of requests are not guaranteed.

Pricing

The cost depends on the scope

Starting prices are shown on each service page and on the Pricing page. The exact cost depends on the scope — languages, sections, payments, booking — and is worked out for the task and fixed in the quote and the contract before work starts.

Describe the task

What the site has to do, who it is for and what takes up your time today. A reply comes within 24 hours — with clarifying questions or a preliminary estimate of cost and timing.

Quote and deadline in the contract

What is included, for how much and by when is fixed before the work starts. The price does not grow along the way: new large sections are priced separately and in advance, not on the invoice.

Monthly maintenance

Hosting, certificate, platform and security updates, backups and small edits — a separate monthly line in the quote. Domain renewal is paid to the registrar unless the contract says otherwise. If you decide to leave, you take the content as an archive and the domain, which is registered in your name.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Can clients book any job without calling?

Standard jobs with a clear duration, yes. More complex repairs come in as a request with a description and vehicle details, and the garage then offers a time.

How do we open more tyre change slots in season?

The schedule is changed in the admin panel: more time can be opened for peak weeks, or a bay added. Changes show up in booking straight away.

Do prices have to be on the website?

The garage decides which prices to publish. Where the price depends on the scope of work, its components are shown — for example the labour hour rate.

Can a VIN field be added to the request form?

Yes, the form fields are configured during development: VIN, mileage, year or any other details the garage needs.

Do clients get reminders?

Yes, by email the day before the visit. The email includes a link to reschedule or cancel.

Does the site suit a standalone tyre shop?

Yes. Tyre change booking then becomes the main feature, and the price list is built around rim size and type of work — for example with or without balancing.
